About Us

With the blessing of Param Pujya Gurudev Swami Chinmayanandaji, in the year 1981, C.V. at St. John's Road Cross was established. It is being managed by Karnataka Chinmayaa Seva Trust with distinguished Pujya Swami Brahmananda at the helm of the affairs. The school is running classes from Nursery to X standard by following the Karnataka state board curriculum

The first batch of X standard came out with the flying colors in the year 1992-93 and since then the school has been recording 100% year after year

C.V caters to the educational requirements for children from Nursery to X standard. Preference is given to the children of the neighbourhood & middle income groups. The Vidyalaya is adhering to the Government regulations by providing seats under RTE Quota also

Campus

The vidyalaya is spread in a four storeyed building and a Prasthana Mandir accomodating more than 1000 stydents.

The school has a well equipped Computer lab, Science lab and an Audio Visual Room.

The school is equipped with a well stocked library to inculeate the reading habits.

School also has a play area for the children and training in Indoor and Outdoor sports is gien to participate in Inter school competions.

The school follows safe, sensitive and secure environment by installing CCTV issuing ID cards proving school security round the clock.

Events

The school conducts Biennial sports day and Annual day to tap the hidden talents of the source are distributed on the day

The school celebrates all National festivals to develop Patriotism and Religious festivals to practice and promote the rich Indial culture

Graduation day is being celebrated for UKG students every year after successful completion of the prescribed curricubion

Farwell day is being held for X standard students every year and then onwords they remines member of Chinmayaaa family by becoming member of CHYK

The High school students are part of children movement for civic awareness and voice of India programme which focuses on the social and civic issues of the environment

Swache Bharath Abhiyan programme is implemented in and around the school area

The school students regularly take part in Shankara TV programmes, Janmashtanai celebrations conducted by ISKON
